Why Convolving exists.

Before setting up the firm we met with several hundred function leaders. The question was simple. Why was AI ambition not turning into AI in production. Three obstacles surfaced in nearly every conversation.

Resource constraints.

Internal teams are at capacity. There is no spare bandwidth for a redesign on the side of the day job, so the AI work either gets squeezed into evenings or never starts.

Workflows stay the same.

AI gets bolted onto the existing workflow, the redesign step is skipped, and the savings written into the business case never materialise.

Capability gaps.

The team that ran the pilot gets fluent. They then go back to the day job, and the rest of the organisation never picks the work up.
